Celebrin Spiritglow's Biography
Race: Elf.
Sex: Female.
Age: Young, barely into elven adulthood.
Tattoos, marks, piercings: Three identical piercings on either ear, one
large green one with two smaller white ones on either side at the tip of her
ears.
Hair: Bright blond at the top and going down to a reddish-brown hue at
the bottom. It's kept carefully and lovingly brushed, with a healthy sheen to
it.
Eyes: A bright, bright green.
Looks: Though she wears plate armour, it seems as though it's working
extra hard to protect her frail and fragile body. She's very thin and tall for a
female elf, though she does what she can to hide her frailty. She's not terribly
curvy, and tries to cover herself as much as possible to hide any curves she
does have.
Her cheekbones are high, and her eyes seem a little brighter than the average
elf, and seem to sometimes stare off, as if in her own world.
Personality: Celebrin is very religious, and very conflicted. Once a holy priest
of the light, she believes highly in prayer, meditation, and penance. Though she
previously had great success in driving out any and all 'unnatural' urges, and
kept her addiction to magic in check, she quickly slipped. Though she still
believes in paying a penance for her indiscretions, so also has been indulging
more and more in her supposed sins.
Because of this she is distant, and often acts erratically, sometimes speaking
and forgetting what she was saying, or wandering around as if in a trance. She
holds high regard of the Alliance faction, and only obeyed her calling to
Silvermoon instead of Stormwind because of the wishes of her priestly order. She
despises orcs and trolls, and suspects she would despise the tauren and forsaken
as well if she had any experience with either of them.
Even around other priests and paladins, she is skeptical and judgmental, judging
no one to be as pious or as sinless as her, despite her obvious failings.
Basically, she's a stuck up, better than thou, hypocritical bitch.
History: Celebrin was a student in the priest's order in Silvermoon,
encouraged to become a devout follower by her father. In order to become worthy,
she devoured text upon text of holy documents about the light, about its
history, and about its practices. She took these to heart, and began to pray,
meditate, and offer penance for most of her waking hours.
During the Second War, though she was still one of the lowest rankings in the
order, she served as a field medic, traveling around the forests of Quel'Thas,
healing the wounded rangers and praying for the fallen, providing them a proper
burial service with the rest of the Clerics.
It was during this time that she met the Troll, Eng. He killed the rest of her
group, knocking her unconscious. He performed a ritual on her that connected his
mind to hers in an attempt to bring valuable information back to the other
Trolls about the intimate workings of the barrier surrounding their enchanted
city.
For over twenty years he spoke to her, guiding her actions and beliefs. She
believed that this voice was instead the voice of a divine being, blessing her
with information on how to better serve. Unfortunately, her special delusion
evaporated when Eng showed up and revealed intimate information that only she
would know.
He began indulging her deepest thoughts and lusts, preying on the innate
addiction to magic that all Blood Elves share, keeping her in line with threats
of pain and death. During this time, her hatred for orcs and trolls grew, though
she began to see Eng in a different light, even going so far as to sympathize
with him.
Eng stopped her from meditating for the most part, and discouraged her act of
prayer, though often doling out punishments at her request for her sins.
However, the troll was old, and became sick. Contacting a warlock he know from
the Tribe, Gromth, he tried to strike a deal to extend or prolong his fading
life, or possibly to preserve his soul. Gromth decided that the elven servant
would make adequate payment; however Eng disagreed, arguing that he would need
someone to take care of him. Gromth offered Eng five-hundred gold in addition to
performing the ritual, while Celebrin watched on quietly, terror in her bright,
green eyes as Eng quietly agreed.
She spent one final night with Eng before packing up her things and saying a
quiet goodbye to the man who had influenced her every thought and action for the
last twenty years.
Current: She currently is living with Gromth, struggling to balance his
new demands of battle with her personal weaknesses, weaning off of the arcane
magic that Eng provided, replacing it with the much more potent fel magic that
Gromth offers.
