Jumwa'jin's Biography

Name: Jumwa

Race: Troll

Sex: Male

Tribe: Burning Tusk Tribe, formerly a forest troll of ambiguous origin.

Trade Skills: Skinner/Leatherworker

Physical Appearance: Pale blue and muscular, he stands as tall and wide as many forest trolls. His skin looks tight and stretched over his jutting muscles and veins. His tongue is tattooed black and often times he colours his tusks black, to match the black tattoos of his jaw.

Though with a shock of full white hair, he otherwise doesn't appear old. His features could even be called attractive if not for the freakish tattoos on his sly face, intended to intimidate. His lips are most often pursed, and he has a habit of tapping the bottom one when idle.

Personality: Jumwa is cold and calculating. Eternal life is his goal; power the main means of obtaining and holding onto it.

Often insincere and always plotting, he shows a different face depending on the necessity of the situation. Though he lacks morals he would not act in a way that would endanger his position or life needlessly.

Arrogant to the extreme, he refuses to admit any are more powerful than him except through some bitter twist of fate. Those who seem more cunning, he looks upon with disdain and anger.

Brief History: Born decades ago, Jumwa the Witch Doctor was a vile and evil leader of a village of trolls in the northern forests of the Eastern Kingdoms. This group of forest trolls were lorded over ruthlessly by their witch doctor and village elder, Jumwa, until his delusional quest for eternal life and power led to his own downfall.

Thinking himself secure in his experiments towards immortality, he simply sought more sway over his villagers and to begin a powerful new Tribe of his own; this he hoped would create a physical power base to shield him and extend his grasp. His cunning told him to move slowly, as he thought that if his attempts towards immortality were successful he had all eternity to act. However, he rushed and his fellow Amani trolls eagerly crushed the upstart village and after months of cruel torture, life began to fade from its delusional leader.

This, however, did not end the story of Jumwa. His experiments towards immortality were not entirely unsuccessful, and he somehow survived the incident. Emaciated and extremely weak, he stank of death and was not the troll he once was. It would take many months of agonizing training and struggle to return to his former strength.

Arriving in the Horde's lands, he sought to start anew yet again and the Burning Tusk Tribe seemed least objectionable to him. Though wary of a Tribe led by a woman, he found it fitting to his needs, and would allow him to continue his work and his quest for strength.

Seeking some vestige of power and authority that he once held, he set about proving himself to the Tribe by flinging himself fanatically into their causes as a Tuskguard and later as an Inquisitor, filtering out non-believers.

When crisis came and the Chieftain faltered, he was called upon due to his fanatical loyalty as a troll to step up and fill in for him. What role he played in all this is still hazy, though he used events to propel himself to the seat of Chieftain and now guides the Tribe slowly in his own vision.
