Feelings

Feeling is very important to me. One of the greatest gifts I could possibly give to our readers and fans is emotion. Raw, honest, heartfelt emotion.

After all, what more personal way can you reach out to someone than by tugging their heart strings?

As a society we move so fast and are so often forced to hide ourselves. Our emotions, our feelings, our thoughts. Too much emotion is seen as a bad thing, as a weakness, but human beings are built to express and feel such a wide range of things.

To be able to control someone’s emotions, to make them feel something, is such a personal and private and real way for us to connect with our fans.

We want to provide thought provoking and exciting entertainment. We want to provide something to suit people’s moods and needs, to help bring them to strange places and open them up to new and curious sensations. We want to be able to distract people from the monotony of reality and provide them an alternative to dreariness.

We’ll leave it up to you to decide how successful we are, but all of those positive reviews and feedback, they touch us in a way we never expected.

See, when we first started writing, it was for one another. Then it was for one another and our fans. We wanted to do something unique and special, to do something new and different.

And we have gotten so many lovely, amazing, wonderful comments and reviews that tell us we’re succeeding. That we’ve really crafted something one of a kind.

We wake up so many mornings to more letters from people who have read something of ours and want more. They’ve never found anyone like us, and that is just… beyond compare to anything we’ve ever experienced. We have never had large egos, or a lot of desire for fame, but we’ve always craved a deep connection with others.

It’s so touching to know that we’re really able to do this. To fill our fans with curiosity and love and passion and desire and sorrow and joy. To be able to really impact you enough that you need to tell the world about it. To actually have people who love what we’re writing, and the fact that our ‘silly little stories’ are selling hundreds of copies every month.

It’s simply humbling and we never want to break that trust.

Our readers and us have shared something impossibly special. There’s a bond there that simply can’t be severed, and we are both so, so grateful to have your support. This makes it so worthwhile and such a great experience, and we can never thank our amazing fans enough for all your love, kindness and support.
